चमोली जनपद में शुक्रवार रात से लगातार हो रही तेज बारिश ने जनजीवन पूरी तरह से अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया है। बदरीनाथ हाईवे कई स्थानों पर भूस्खलन और मलबा आने से बाधित हो गया है। नंदानगर के समीप पर्थाडीप भूस्खलन क्षेत्र में एक यात्रा वाहन मलबे में फंस गया था, हालांकि उसमें सवार तीर्थयात्रियों को पहले ही सुरक्षित उतार लिया गया था।
