Available and affordable: Bayern Munich could make a play for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho
Jadon Sancho’s transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United back in 2021 has been nothing short of disastrous.
Even with multiple changes in the coach staff, Sancho has no future with the Red Devils and is said to be available for an affordable fee (think €35 million or less) — and there is at least one journalist pointing toward Bayern Munich as a surprise player in the sweepstakes.
Ruhr Nachrichten reporter Jürgen Koers said so on a podcast per Tz:
The 25-year-old attacker is once again on the verge of being sacked by Manchester United and is being heavily linked with a move. According to Ruhr Nachrichten reporter Jürgen Koers, Sancho might not sign for Borussia Dortmund for a third time – but rather end up at FC Bayern.
“All BVB fans must be strong now: I can very well imagine that FC Bayern will try everything to get Jadon Sancho,” Koers explained in the RN podcast. He pointed to Sancho’s Bundesliga experience, his game intelligence, and his current market value: “He’s comparatively cheap, has to go elsewhere, and knows the league. From Bayern’s perspective, that’s relatively simple.”
It could be an interesting solution for the Bavarians, but it could also be fair to wonder if Sancho has much left in the tank after a few years of battling coaches and himself. A fresh start in a somewhat familiar place could be just the kind of kickstart needed to revive Sancho’s career...will Bayern Munich try to get a bargain buy?
