Civil Services Prelims tomorrow

The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 will be held at 95 sub-centres in Hyderabad on May 25.

The examination will have two papers — General Studies and CSAT. It will be conducted from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., respectively.

The entry of candidates at the exam centres is strictly based on an e-admit card issued by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), along with a valid original photo identification card.

If candidates are unable to produce the ID card, an undertaking can be submitted, and not producing one’s ID card will not be treated as barring the candidate from appearing for the test.

As per examination rules, in each session, candidates will be allowed to carry only the e-admit card, a black ballpoint pen, pencil, identity proof, copies of self-photographs, and a transparent water bottle.

Entry into the venue will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the hall after the gates are closed, and no candidate will be allowed to leave before the end of the full allotted time.

Candidates will not be allowed to use the toilet during the last 30 minutes of the examination.

Bags, cellphones and watches should be kept at candidates’ risk as examination venues will not have designated cloak rooms.
