Adivi Sesh & Mrunal Thakur’s Dacoit set to release at this time

It’s been so long since Adivi Sesh appeared in a full-length film. The actor’s Goodachari 2, a.k.a. G2 and Dacoit, are currently in production. Many thought G2 would hit the screens first, but in a surprising move, Dacoit is releasing ahead of G2. Popular cinematographer Shaniel Deo, who worked on Sesh’s acclaimed thrillers Kshanam and Goodachari, is the director of Dacoit.
The news in the trade circles is that Dacoit will open in cinemas in December 2025. The official announcement about the release date is expected on Monday. Initially, Shruti Haasan was cast as the female lead, and the makers even unveiled a glimpse featuring her. Later, she was replaced by the latest sensation, Mrunal Thakur.
Controversial and renowned Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is making his Tollywood debut with Dacoit. Jointly produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang, Dacoit is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the tunes.
