March to Bengal secretariat by non-teaching staff in schools stopped by police

Amidst heavy rains in Kolkata and Howrah, ‘untainted’ group C and D staff of the West Bengal school recruitment scam walk to Nabanna (State Secretariat) on Tuesday (July 8, 2025) to file a deputation to the Chief Minister or Chief Secretary asking that their jobs be restored with dignity. 

Braving the rains, hundreds of non-teaching staff walked to Nabanna amidst knee-deep water, with umbrellas in hands, and trousers folded, their slogans for justice pierced through the sky.
