Ryan Rickelton: Shukri Conrad has been pretty blunt and honest with me
Proteas batsman Ryan Rickelton’s first nine Tests were at position three, four, five or six in the batting order. His 10th Test was as an opening batsman – and resulted in a double-century against Pakistan at Newlands.
Proteas head coach Shukri Conrad has since confirmed Rickelton will retain the opening position for this month’s World Test Championship final against Australia at Lord’s in England.
