Reports: Randal Kolo Muani will be with Juventus for the Club World Cup

When Juventus signed Randal Kolo Muani on loan for the second half of the 2024-25 season, the catch was that there would have to be a little something extra figured out if he stayed around long enough to wear bianconero in the Club World Cup.

With less than two weeks to go before Juventus’ first group stage game in the United States, it looks like those conversations have been had.

According to French transfer reporter Fabrice Hawkins and later confirmed by TuttoJuve.com’s Mirko Di Natale on Friday evening, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have agreed to let Kolo Muani stick with the Bianconeri through the tournament that begins later this month. It was rather uncertain that Kolo Muani would get permission to extend his stay with Juve at least a couple more weeks considering one of the other short-term loanees that the club signed in January, Chelsea center back Renato Veiga, is pretty much a no-go and will be wearing blue rather than bianconero if he is to take part in the Club World Cup.

It all means that Kolo Muani will be the second Juve loanee who will reportedly stick with Juventus through the Club World Cup along with Francisco Conceição.

But like Conceição, what the future holds after that is very much an unknown.
