Delhi govt sets November deadline to clear Yamuna floodplains of encroachments

The Delhi government has ordered agencies to remove all encroachments from the Yamuna floodplains by November as part of a 45-point action plan to clean and rejuvenate the river. The DDA has been instructed to clear encroachments, including illegal nurseries and unauthorized structures, along Yamuna floodplains in east, northeast, and south Delhi. | Source: The Economic Times
