DRDO and Bharat Forge have collaborated to develop a Close Quarter Battle (CQB) Carbine for the Indian Armed Forces, designed for urban warfare and counter-insurgency missions. This compact weapon, meeting international standards, weighs approximately 3.3 kilograms, has a 200-meter range, and accommodates both NATO and INSAS ammunition.
