A covert Indian intelligence operation foiled a Pakistani espionage plot targeting Delhis defence sites. The three-month mission led to the arrest of ISI-trained agent Ansarul Miya Ansari and his Indian associate Akhlaque Azam. Ansari, radicalised in Pakistan, was caught with classified military data, allegedly intended for a terror strike. Investigations revealed support from Pakistan High Commission officials and exposed deeper links to ISIs wider sleeper cell network. A chargesheet has been filed, with both accused in high-security custody at Tihar Jail. | Source: The Economic Times
